Katelyn Carty, MD

Katelyn was born and raised in Gainesville, Florida (go Gators!). She attended undergrad at the University of Florida where she double majored in Music Performance (Flute) and Biology. She continued her education at UF College of Medicine where she served on her class executive board, directed a student-run free clinic, led two medical mission trips to the Dominican Republic, and was inducted to Alpha Omega Alpha. Most importantly, she attributes caring for underserved populations, both locally and internationally, to be pivotal in her development as a young doctor. She hopes to continue these efforts as a urologist. In her free time, she loves to socialize with her friends, go on runs/bike rides, snuggle her cat Sasha, and enjoy a good cocktail in the ‘burgh.
